September has been a bit of a whirlwind, so I practically forgot about my Play! by Sephora box until it arrived last week! The day after I received it I went to visit family in St. Louis for a few days, so I didn’t get a chance to publish my post until now. This month’s box has a “Fall Into Beauty” theme to coincide with the changing of the seasons. Surprisingly, there were no products containing pumpkin. 😛
I can’t believe it’s already more than halfway through August! My Play! by Sephora box arrived this week, with an “Elements of Beauty” periodic table design on the front and back of the brochure. Each box in the table lists an ingredient found in certain beauty products and explains what it’s good for (e.g., “guarana seed extract is best for deep hydration”). Cute…and helpful!
My July Sephora Play! box arrived late in the afternoon the day before I left for Comic-Con, so I was too busy packing to start playing around with my samples. I did take a couple of them with me to San Diego, though, and now that I’m back home I’ve finally had a chance to use each sample a few times so that I could sneak in my blog post before August!
My June 2017 Play! by Sephora box arrived last week but I’ve had trouble getting myself to sit down and write about it. It’s not that it was a bad batch of samples; I simply wasn’t overly excited about them, so it’s been harder to motivate myself to write this post. But here I am, making it happen on the final day of June!
My May Play! by Sephora box showed up last week before I went on a mini-vacation, and I spent some time this week trying out my samples before sitting down to write about them. May’s theme is The Rising Stars: stellar “cult favorites, hard-to-find-formulas, and one-of-a-kind brands that are making their mark.”
Wow…I’m pretty late with this post, but that’s because I moved last week so my life has been a little nuts! Things are finally settling down and I feel ready to get back into the blogging life.
I received my second Play! by Sephora box a couple weeks ago (at least!) and have managed to get a little time to play around with my samples.
